Ashok Kheny
Managing Director

Mr.Ashok Kheny has over twenty years of professional experience in the engineering, designs and construction of major projects for the transportation, infrastructure and telecommunications industries in U.S.A.
Mr. Kheny, who holds an Electrical Engineering Degree and a Masters Degree in Management Science, has been involved with the development of the Bangalore-Mysore Infrastructure Corridor Project right from its inception.
He is the founder Member and Principal of SAB Engineering and its affiliate firm SAB International Limited, which are specialised in services to transportation and infrastructure industries.

 

Sanjivi Sundar
Advisor

Mr.Sanjivi Sundar is a former Secretary in the Ministry of Surface Transport, Government of India and has specialised in Infrastructure Project Formulation. As a former Director of Economic and Legal Advisory services of the Commonwealth Secretariat,he has tremendous exposure to International Finance, Debt Management Capital Market Development and Privatization. Armed with a Masters Degree in Economics, Mr.Sundar has also been involved in Tourism Promotion, restructuring of sick industrial units, parastatal reform and overseeing the largestmultipurpose River Valley Project in India.

Hasmukh P.Patel
Technical Director

As Project Director, Mr. Patel is responsible for implementation of the project. He has over 30 years of experience in managing new projects. As Vice-President, Projects, of Kalyani Steels, Mr. Patel had overall responsibility for execution of the company's Integrated Steel Plant Project at Hospet, Karnataka costing approximately Rs. 6,000 MN. Till recently Mr. Patel was the project director for Hubli Dharwar Bypass road being developed by NHDL. Prior to working in India, he worked as Vice President, District Manager in Fischbach & Moore Inc.,Transit Group, Boston. In Boston, Mr. Patel was responsible for projects worth a total of US$ 45 MN plus construction.

Mr. Patel's responsibilities primarily involved:

· Profitability in business for the Boston Office
· All bidding activities
· Office management as well as execution of projects in the field
· Design built projects
· Coordinating management activities with the company's other offices

Mr. Patel is a graduate in Electrical Engineering.


Venkataramanappa
Advisor

Mr. Venkataramanappa is the Consultant, infrastructure planning of NICE and is responsible for advising the company on real estate development. He has been the Assistant Director, Town Planning of Hassan, Mysore, and the Bangalore Development Authority. Mr. Venkataramanappa assisted in the preparation of C.D.P. for Bangalore Metropolitan Area. He was responsible for preparation of C.D.P. & RC.D.P. for Mysore City Planning Area and has prepared a number of schemes for the Mysore Urban Development Authority. Mr. Venkataramanappa has extensive experience in Scrutiny of Building Plans, Commercial Complexes, Residential layouts, Industrial and Commercial development plans, Group Housing, Apartments & Cinema Buildings.

Mr. Venkataramanappa is a graduate in Civil Engineering and a post graduate in Town Planning from the School of Architecture & Planning, Madras University.

K.B. Gopala Krishna
Advisor

Mr. Gopala Krishna, has been a Senior Member of the Team (Superintending Engineer) working on Hydrological Studies of the Bangalore Mysore Infrastructure Corridor. He is responsible for all the Hydrological Studies for the project.

Mr. Gopala Krishna has more than 35 years of experience in the Public Works Department, Government of Karnataka wherein he has worked in various capacities from Assistant Engineer to Superintending Engineer and later its Advisor. He has worked on a number of assignments relating to design of Hydraulic and Bridge structures for a major period of his career. Mr. Gopala Krishna is graduate in Civil Engineering.

Major C.R Ramesh
Advisor

Major Ramesh is responsible for concept and BOT package formulation. He has vast experience in the Indian road sector and was the President of the Indian Roads Congress in 1998. Major Ramesh has been Secretary to GoK, PWD. He has advised all the state departments on construction of roads, buildings and industrial infrastructure. He has been instrumental in framing the first BOOT Expressway project in the state with the procurement of land being undertaken by the developer.

Major Ramesh has been involved in the implementation of a number of road projects taken up under loan assistance from ADB. He also mooted the proposal for creation of the Road Development Corporation and has conceptualized several road projects for implementation under the BOT basis.

Major Ramesh has also worked in the Ministry of Defense, GoI. He was involved with the construction and maintenance of temporary roads, and planning, investigation , execution and maintenance of Hill roads. He is a graduate in Civil Engineering.

S.R.Swamy
Vice-president

Mr. Swamy is responsible for developing design engineering and project management setup. He has over 20 years of experience in core sector projects and has been involved in Project Coordination Consultancy Services for Karnataka State Highway Improvement Project. Mr. Swamy has also been involved in the Hubli-Dharwad Bypass project.

Mr. Swamy has worked with Engineering Projects (India) Ltd., a leading turnkey contracting company. He was in-charge of the Mumbai regional office. During his association with the company, he worked on large projects for Indian Oil Corporation such as non-plant building and road works for their LPG terminal, Water Supply Scheme Project for Pune, etc. Mr. Swamy also worked for Mecon as an Assistant Design Engineer.

Mr. Swamy is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering and a post graduate in Business Management.


T. Ramaswamy
Vice-president

Mr. Ramaswamy is responsible for land identification and acquisition for the BMIC. He has over 25 years experience in planning, production and administration functions of mineral based industries. Prior to joining the company, he was the Senior General Manager (Operations) of Chowgule Shipping in Goa. He also represented the company in various technical committees set-up to address issues such as environment, safety and productivity.

Mr. Ramaswamy has been associated with various mineral production facilities in the State of Bihar, wherein he specialized in the acquisition of new area / production of minerals.

He is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and a post graduate in 'Rock Mechanics and Strata Control' from the Technical University of West Berlin.
